Robert Schrittwieser took over management in 2001 and with his knowledge in electronics has modernised the plant to be a leader in electroplated diamond tools.

Just about any shape can be plated with almost any size industrial diamond. Electroplating can also provide production cost savings as the part’s finished shape can easily be produced by the plated tool.

We can produce electroplated tools from print supplied by you or we will plate a blank you provide. Our Stripping System allows a used electroplated tool to be stripped and replated a couple of times before losing shape and therefore saving the customer the costs of producing a new blank every time.

This has put EFS Super Abrasives in a very good position to be able to produce, not only very unique custom bonding solutions, but also to manufacture goods at a very high volume low cost ratio.
